If we can’t answer leave us your name and number and we’ll get back to you asap.

Our most effective and preferred method of communication is email. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that we are kept up to date of any changes of contact details both before and after receipt of e-tickets including email, contact telephone numbers and address.

What is included in the ticket price?

Tickets are £120 per person and include 3 nights self catering chalet accommodation, access to all three music venues & park activities.

Do we have to buy tickets in groups?
Yes. Tickets are sold in groups of 4, 5, 6, 7 & 8 corresponding to the size of the chalet you and your friends require.

What is the point of the booking fee?
The £2.50 per person booking fee pays for the general costs associated with operating an online ticket office.

Payment Methods
We accept the following debit / credit cards Visa, Mastercard, Switch/Maestro, Solo and Visa Electron. If you are shopping from outside the UK, place your order and your card company will convert the transaction to your own currency. For some countries this may not work, if you find there's a problem then please email us at: weekender@bangface.com

Deposit Payments
This is an opportunity for you to reserve a chalet by paying 25% of the cost. You then have 30 days to pay the remaining 75% as one single payment. To do this simply login to the group section with your unique username and password contained in your payment confirmation email (which you were sent after you paid the deposit). Then follow the clearly labeled link in your group section. The deposit is non-refundable and please be aware that if the balance is not settled in this time you will forfeit your deposit and the chalet will go back on sale!

Group Account
Group ticket holders will be sent unique login details in their purchase confirmation email. Each member of the chalet will be required to login and enter their full contact details and agree to the ‘Individual Terms & Conditions’. This is required by law. Failure to provide accurate information will result in the cancellation of your booking and loss of your payments. All group info must currently be completed one moth prior to the event.

Upgrades
You can upgrade your group to a larger size by following the link in your group login page. Your group can be increased by up to three people so you can move to a bigger chalet or even split into two chalets. If you reserved your chalet using the deposit system you will need to settle the balance to activate the upgrade options.

What’s the point of the Group Leader?
Because you book as a group relative to your chalet it’s much simpler for us to have just one point of contact. You must nominate the Group Leader in the Chalet Account.

e-Tickets
All ticketing and group organisation is fully electronic - so no printed tickets or forms will be posted out. Your email confirmation booking reference is your e-ticket and contains group entry code.

There are only 2 of us so we can’t fill up a chalet?
We recommend www.ravetalk.co.uk to find some extra takers in a similar position.

How old do you have to be to attend?
18 years and over.

What Do the Chalets Include?
Each chalet is self-catering and has a small kitchen with cooking/dining utensils included, bathroom with either a shower or bathroom and of course a sink & toilet. The TV area doubles as a bedroom with a roll out sofa bed, and then there will either be one or two bedrooms with the relevant numbers of beds.

How do we know which chalet we’ll be staying in?
The Group Leader will find out your chalet number when they check in to recpetion at the event. We don’t distinguish between the standard of chalet when you book. It’s 1st come 1st served.

We are in a crew with more than one chalet can we be close together?

Email us details of your booking and we’ll try wherever we can to help. The earlier you book, the better the chance.

How does it work with the beds and sofa beds in the chalets?
All chalets have a sofa which serves as a double sofa bed. A four berth includes two single beds in a bedroom and one pull out double sofa bed in the lounge. A six berth includes two bedrooms with 2 single beds in each and a pull out double sofa bed in the lounge. So, each person will get a bed with two people sharing a double sofa bed in the lounge area.

Local Taxis: Probably the quickest way to get from Rye to Pontins is to pre-book a local cab. It’s only a 5 minute drive. There is a full list of local taxi firms below.

Car Parking
You can park onsite for free on a first-come, first-served basis but parking is limited so please car-share as much as you can. Once the car park is full you will have to park in an offsite overspill car park which will cost. Also, please be considerate when parking and do not block any exits - your car will be towed offsite.

When can we arrive and when do we have to leave?
The Gates to the site open at 1pm (midday) on Friday 24 April 2009. When you arrive at the gates the security will be there to direct you. Only the Group Leader is required to visit reception to present the e-ticket and collect chalet keys and wrist passes. You will also be asked for a £20 re-fundable deposit for each member of your group. Don’t worry you will get this back when you check out providing you’ve not blatantly damaged anything.

Reception Opening Hours for Check-in are as follows:

Fri 24th: 1pm – 12am
Sat 25th: 2pm - 5pm
Sun 26th: 2pm - 8pm
Mon 27th: 7am - end of day checkout at 12pm

We require everyone to checkout by 11am on Monday 27th April. Only one member of the group is required. YOU MUST LEAVE YOUR CHALET AS YOU FOUND IT – THIS MEANS DOING THE WASHING UP & PUTTING RUBBISH IN THE BIN. You will only have to go back and do it again otherwise.  Failure to checkout via reception will result in the forfeit for your damage deposit so please check the reception opening times.

Can I check in on Thursday night?
Sorry, no. If you need somewhere to stay the local tourist board will be able to help.

What time does the music begin and finish?
1pm on Friday in the pub. The full rave kicks of officially on Friday evening so we recommend you arrive well in time for the grand opening. Music will run each night until 6am and begin again at 2pm the next day on both Saturday and Sunday. Music will finish on Sunday at midnight. We also have a 24hour onsite pub for the whole weekend.

Who's playing when?
Group Leaders will be given full schedules for each member of the group when they check in at reception.

Can we bring our own food and drink?
Yes this is recommended. The chalets are fully self-catering but there is a supermarket onsite. The onsite pub and music area bars run at standard pub prices. Please note that you will not be allowed to take your own drink into the venues and music areas.

Wrist passes?
Do not remove your wrist pass. This provides you with access to the venues and music areas for the entire weekend. If you’ve put it on too tight visit reception for a new one but it is essential you provide us with the old one first.

Chalet keys?
There are only two keys per chalet so please don't lose them! It’s also a good idea to make a note of your chalet number - write on your hand etc. before you hit the party.

Can we stay on the Sunday night?
Yes, everyone can stay on the Sunday night at no extra cost. This means the event can run until late on Sunday and you don’t have to miss a thing.

What should we bring with us?
It’s a good idea to bring some essentials e.g. toiletries, washing up liquid, food, tea bags etc. There is a supermarket and newsagents as well as other food outlets onsite. Sufficient bedding will be found in your chalet but we recommend that you bring sleeping bags/duvets and pillows so you’re extra snug. You also need to bring towels, Pontins do not proivde them. Your chalet will be provided with limited free electricity. Extra meter cards cost £1 each and are available from reception and the onsite supermarket. £5 per chalet for the weekend should cover it. There is a cash point onsite.

You should also bring a bathing costume and towel if you plan to attend the pool party. As ever bring fancy dress, masks and rave toys for themed rave ;)

What are the Individual Terms and Conditions?
Because tickets are sold in groups we need to ensure that each individual member of the chalet has agreed to the T&C’s, and not just the cardholder. Also we are required by law to have the contact details of every person staying onsite during the weekend.
It’s simply a basic form that means you are responsible for you actions during your stay at Pontins. Just be thoughtful when you are having fun and when you arrive in your chalet check that nothing is missing or broken. If it is, please visit reception straight away and arrange a replacement.

What do I do if I’ve a problem over the weekend?
Go to the reception and a Bang Face or Pontins member of staff will attend to you.

What is JGSR Events?
JGSR Events has been set up by Bang Face to deal with all the ticketing and organisation of the Bang Face Weekender. All ticket payments are processed through the JGSR Events account at HSBC Secure ePayments.
Ticket purchases will appear as JGSR Events on your bank statements.
